This is the part most crews subcontract
Plenty of hardscape companies will happily install block. Far fewer will hand-fit natural stone on a vertical face, and fewer still will carve it. That is where Tim started and it is still the core of the business.
Good masonry is a reading problem before it is a labor problem. You look at a pallet of stone and see which pieces want to go where, which need cutting, and how the joints will run so the finished face does not look like a repeating pattern. That judgment does not come from a manual.
What we build
Stone veneer on foundations, full elevations, chimneys and columns — natural stone laid over block or frame with proper flashing, drainage plane and mortar work.
Steps and treads cut and set from solid stone, which is both the best-looking and the longest-lived way to get up a slope.
Columns, piers and mailbox surrounds that match the house rather than fighting it.
Outdoor fireplaces and fire pits with real arched fireboxes.
Custom carved work — relief pieces, signs and one-off details. This is rare and we enjoy it.
Matching existing stone
On a repair or an addition, the hard part is making the new work disappear into the old. That means sourcing stone with the right color range and texture, matching mortar color and joint profile, and blending at the seam rather than stopping in a straight line.

Common questions
Do you do stone repair as well as new work?
Yes — repointing, rebuilding failed sections, chimney work and matching in additions.
Can you match the stone on my existing house?
Usually we can get very close. Color, texture and mortar joint all matter. Send a photo and Tim will tell you what is realistic before you commit.
Is this real stone or manufactured veneer?
We prefer and primarily work in real natural stone. We will install manufactured veneer if that is what the budget calls for, and we will be clear about the difference in how it ages.
Do you do interior fireplaces?
Yes, interior stone fireplace surrounds and hearths are within what we do.
How long does veneer work take?
It depends entirely on square footage and detail. A column or a chimney is days; a full elevation is weeks. Hand-fitting is slow by nature.
